Soraja Cehic originally from Bosnia & Herzegovina, moved to Italy 2018 where she began her career as a set designer.
Her passion for designing unconventional spaces, comes from intertwining the two dominant disciplines in her life: architecture and performance.
She started out in architecture, doing her master thesis on re-designing the National Theatre of Mostar in a first attempt to combine those two branches.
She then crossed over from architecture to fashion, to fully commit to apstract ways of creating spaces, and has since worked on Campaigns for the likes of Gucci, Valentino, Versace, Armani, Chanel, Margiela, Miu Miu, Prada and many others.
Her study path, as well as working in various Theatre and Art based projects, has given her the further opportunity to pursue her interests in interior design, movement, scenography, fashion, set design, theatre, film as well as developing her approach, attitude and skills in working with, and alongside other set designers such as: David James White, Victoria Salomoni, Max Bellhouse, Emma Roach and Gideon Ponte.
She has collaborated with a number of high profile photographers such as: Jürgen Teller, Petra Collins, Mariano Vivanco, Colin Dogson, Glen Luchford, Peter Schlessinger, Julia Hetta, Scanderbergs, Theo Wenner, John Balsom, Marie Schüller, Alasdair Mc Lellan, Willy Vanderperre, Dario Catellani, Clara Balzary ect..
